Merle M. Singer is a long time Hollywood resident and apartment building owner. Merle has an impressive history with many community organizations, including: the Yucca Corridor Coalition of Property Owners and Managers, the Children’s Hospital-Teen Pregnancy Prevention Intervention, the Hollywood Community-Government Traffic Community, the Hollywood Coordinating Council, the Hollywood Boulevard Business Improvement District, the Yucca Corridor Slum Abatement Task Force, the Community-Police Problem Solving (CPPS) Project, the Las Palmas Lions Neighborhood Watch Group, and was the Co-Chair of the Hollywood Community-Police Advisory Board (C-PAB). |

Jonathan Varsano was a long time Hollywood resident and is an apartment building owner. Jon has worked with the Yucca Corridor Coalition since 1996. For three years, Jon published YCC's newsletter the Yucca Corridor Report. Jon was also actively involved in the Yucca Corridor Slum Abatement Task Force. He has a Bachelors Degree in Business Economics from U.C. Santa Barbara and is a licensed California Real Estate Broker. Mr. Varsano was President of Automated Laundry Systems, Inc. from 1997 to 2000 and was a commercial real estate broker at Grubb & Ellis in West LA. He currently manages a real estate portfolio and is an investor. |

Professor Jeanine Centuori, Associate Professor of Architecture at Woodbury University and Director of the Center for Community Research and Design, located in Hollywood, is working with the Yucca Corridor Coalition of Property Owners and Managers on development of a Gateway to Hollywood, utilizing a triangular parcel
of city owned property at Cahuenga Blvd. and Franklin Avenue.
